SpO2 Monitoring

The Science

Camera-Based SpO2 Signals

Oxygenated and deoxygenated blood absorb light differently. In supported configurations, Circadify analyzes rPPG signal features to produce oxygen-saturation trends with confidence context.

When Contactless SpO2 Signals Help

Telehealth Context

Optional oxygen-saturation outputs during virtual consultations when enabled for the deployment.

Daily Wellness Checks

Convenient trend checks for users tracking respiratory wellness signals.

Respiratory Programs

Supplement traditional oximetry with frequent contactless check-ins between reference readings.

Fitness Recovery

Track oxygen-saturation trends during high-altitude training or workout recovery.

SpO2 Monitoring FAQ

Common questions about contactless oxygen-saturation signals

How does contactless SpO2 work?

Oxygen-rich and oxygen-poor hemoglobin absorb light differently. In supported configurations, Circadify analyzes rPPG signal features to produce oxygen-saturation trends without a contact sensor.

Can this replace a pulse oximeter?

No. Contactless SpO2 outputs are intended for configuration-dependent trend and workflow context, not as a replacement for a validated pulse oximeter where clinical decisions require oxygen-saturation measurement.

What affects SpO2 quality?

Factors include lighting conditions, skin tone, camera quality, motion, face position, and model configuration. Results should be interpreted with confidence indicators and validation context.
